Do I Have To Cook In Your Home?
- Virginia state health department regulations state that all meals prepared by a private chef be prepared in the home of the consumer or a licensed and inspected commercial kitchen. If your preference is that we not prepare food in your kitchen, we are happy to prepare your meals in a commercial kitchen, there will be a rental charge for the facility added to the cost of services.
Is It Okay If I Watch Or Help?
- We are always happy to teach and interact with our clients, however, there is a production schedule in place to ensure you receive your meal in a timely manner. We are grateful if interruptions are kept to a minimum. This guarantees your meal is prepared as efficiently as possible.
When And How Do I Pay You?
- Copper & Thyme Kitchen gratefully accepts: cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal
How Long Does It Take To Prepare My Meals?
- Time requirements depend on the menu selected, generally, we allow ourselves 4-6 hours to complete your culinary requests.
Do I Need To Be Home While You Prepare My Meals?
- Not at all, in fact, most clients are often running errands or working while we prepare food in their kitchen!
Is There Anything I Need To Do Prior To Your Visit?
- We ask that your kitchen be as clean as possible and that there be adequate space in your refrigerator or freezer. If you have disposable containers you would like us to use, please leave them out.
